In the video podcast, Adam Curry, widely regarded as the inventor of podcasting, takes us on a journey through his life and explains how the development of the technology took place and where the term “podcast” really comes from.
Born in the US, raised in Amsterdam in Holland, at 15 Adam was already running his first media experiment – a pirate radio station based in his bedroom. Adam became a presenter on pirate radio station Decibel Radio where he rubbed shoulders with the likes of Madonna.
A move into Dutch TV resulted in an approach by MTV to present in the States, built up a syndicated radio show, kept up his computer and early internet knowledge, experimented with early modems and finally nailed a transmission using 56Kbps technology!
The curious blend of presentation skills, internet and computer knowledge and a life time spent in the media ultimately led to the final piece of the jigsaw being put into place and the world’s first podcasts were… podcasted! Only they weren’t called podcasts then, they didn’t really have any name…

How To upload Mp3 On Your Blogger Or Wordpres Step By Step
Audio marketing is great tool for a small busines and really, for any business no matter how big they are.
End of the day we are in a marketing business, no matter what business one is in. And finding a free way to have your own free podcasts to educate, engage, and even teach has been somewhat of a challenge for some business.
Having an audio on your blog and even on your capture pages can be real treat. I noticed when I listen to audios, I’m focused on what is being said. No distractions.
Especially for anyone starting a business due to the monthly fees of what you need to pay to use the podcast tools. Not anymore! Look below of the live example. I didn’t pay a dime and now you too can upload your audio to your blog…
You’ll learn how record your audio using a free software, save it as mp3 and done. I need to stress the importance that it needs to be an mp3 to get the result I am sharing.
Great thing about this is you can include it in your email marketing by emailing a link and direct all your prospects to your blog to listen and download your audio. Moving them to YOUR active hub.
You can also place the audio player on your capture pages and thank you page to educate the next step for peope to do and branding you, your voice. And have it run on autopilot too.
It’s a great tool for audio books. You can provide audio, pdf and also articles on your blog. Now, you got a variation instead of just one type of sharing valuable information. Or just keep to one, depending on your readers needs.
Check out the link at the end of this article to see the result on my blog. Ok, let’s rock on roll all ye home business owners and savvy network marketers.

On 27 June 2010 our special guest was Andy Gibney who demonstrated his famous “One Inch Punch” on Ian McKendrick. Mark Peters captured this on a mobile phone, so apologies for the poor quality.
You can listen a podcast of this episode here: http://www.markandian.com/businesshub/2010/06/the-business-hub-show-podcast-27-june-2010/
And while you’re at it and browsing our site, why not subscribe to our podcasts and listen in on the fun we have on the show every week?

Mobile phones come with all kinds of features these days. With email access, instant messaging, Web browsing, games, and MP3 playback, sometimes it’s hard to remember that you’re supposed to use your phone to call people.
The downside to all of these new features is that many of them are difficult to access using a standard mobile phone. This is where push technology comes in. Push technology lets you automatically receive email, news, and other updates without you having to seek them out and download them manually.
The technology is already a big convenience on desktop PCs (the proliferation of RSS [Really Simple Syndication] feeds and podcasts are examples), but on mobile phones the benefits are even greater.
Now its very clear that Push ( Email )Technology works wonder for Business People but it would be nice to know how it can help Ordinary People. I really need some of the creative or wacky corners of advantages, on which hardly any one puts emphasis.
Answers : 250 words
well it certainly sends you the emails quicker than manually retireieving emails
I dont know whats wacky or creative about it, but its as close to receiving an answer immediately.
If for instance you asked someone to marry you over email I’m sure you would wanna know immediately, rather than having to wait to send and receive…..

No, seriously. I count the Catholics among the smartest (although not the best of coolest) Christians. At least their Higher Theology stuff is far more clever than the usual bible-thumping.
But I’m fed up of reading in their propaganda on how the NASA ‘validated’ this or that ‘miracle’ of theirs. Like in the Shroud of Turin or the Virgin of Guadalupe. Guys and gals, do you realize that NASA is an AEROSPACE agency and is not in the business of checking someone’s ‘miracles’? That those NASA guys, when existing, were on their own and never, ever on official NASA business? No, the Europeans cosmo-people don’t either, not to say the Russians or the Chinese, and CERN (as I have also read sometimes) is definitely outta that too: 21st-century theoretical physics, you know, not Middle-Age relic trafficking.
A recent example posted in Y!A some minutes ago:
http://www.totus2us.com/podcasts/something-about-mary/our-lady-of-guadalupe/
I know what NASA is thanks.
There are several unexplained things about the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I’m not sure what I believe. This is the first I have heard about NASA looking into Our Lady of Guadalupe. I agree that sounds odd, to put it mildly.
The Shroud of Turin was created in the middle ages, it is not the burial shroud of Jesus Christ.
