I have a podcast that isn’t available through iTunes Store, so I have to download it as a .mp3 file. My question is is there any way for me to mark these files as a podcast so that they don’t appear in my library? only in my podcast directory?

Yep. Open iTunes and right click the podcast you have and then fill out the artist etc and go through all of the tabs and it will have a section where you make it a music video movie tvshow audio book or podcast

iTunes 6.0 seems to be pretty good, but it does not support my MP3 player. I’d like to find a good podcast receiver on Windows, which has a rich podcast directory, can automatically download new episodes, can sync with portable MP3 player easily. Any suggestions?

When i made the first size in bytes, it did the properties of both files, oops….. and When I said iTunes Store I meant Podcast Directory.

I want to find a technology podcast other than twit, where can I find a list of them?

PodCastAlley.com is a good podcast directory, its easier to navigate and find more info on a podcast then iTunes music store IMHO.
