i have PC and can i use windows movie maker
A podcast is typically a radio-style show delivered over the internet. I run one, which is odd for a 15 year-old, but anyway, you can talk, conduct interviews, share your opinions about anything, and even play music. I like to consider it a spoken blog, seeing that I’m too lazy to type, so I’d rather talk. To make a regular podcast you can use anything that records your voice and has mixing capabilities. Audacity is a free program, but I prefer Acoustica MixCraft ( i have a copy, btw) , seeing that it resembles mostly like GarageBand.
To distribute your podcast, I’d recommend podomatic.com, seeing that it hosts your podcast, and does all the boring feed creating stuff that I do manually. Plus, it makes it easier to submit your podcast to iTunes.
Feel free to e-mail me if you have further questions.

I’m writing a podacst for a lost special. Nestor, the long eared Christmas donkey.?
Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey is born with VERY long ears, that keep getting him into trouble. When his owner throws him out of the stable in disgust, his mother sacrifices her life to save him from a blizzard. And, guided only by his guardian cherub (Tilly), he has to find his rightful place and destiny, somewhere on the road to Bethlehem.
The podcast will follow a similiar story to the original 1977 short. Don’t worry, I have connections with the makers. I’m emailing them write now about this. So, no worries.
What do you think? Would you listen to it? Their free! And I’m already looking for voice actors. Want to help? Submit idea’s in my forum. I just want to know if anyone will appreciate listening to it. Oh yeah, almost forgot.
The forum is on my Nestor fansite.
www.freewebs.com/littlene…
and the podcast will be on a seperate site.

Thank you for your time.
I think it sounds great. I’m not much of a voice talent. I haven’t read the original, but i think kids will love this.
I caught up with craftzine blogger and Austin local Rachel Hobson at Maker Faire Austin 2008, where she gave a demo on making the Mini Monsters from CRAFT:06. These fun little creatures, invented by Moxie, are unique and full of the personality you give them. You can buy the Mini Monster Kit in the Maker Shed: http://www.makershed.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CMX5

I downloaded a video from a site and I want to take some of the audio to put into a podcast. That being said how do I do that. I uploaded the video to Windows Movie Maker ( and it is the new one if that makes a difference). I want to pull the audio from that and then edit the sound in audacity. I just don’t know how to separate the two parts.
Please help!
Thanks.
I don’t see a time line in this version of windows movie maker.
i’m not sure windows movie maker can do this, but the paid version of quicktime can, but it’s about $40.
however, i am failry sure i saw a free program which supposedly could, haven’t tested it yet to verify this.
First of all, I’m not doing the illegal thing with iTunes movies. I downloaded a video podcast from a site, and I need to convert it to a file type that would work with Windows Movie Maker. I found one converter that works, but since it was the free version, it only converted half of the file. If there’s a way to convert it to an audio file, that would work just as well. Thanks in advance. I’m at a loss for what to do.
I know a video converter called AQ Video Converter Platinum. It can convert many popular video formats to audio formats, such as MP3, WAV,WMA,M4A, AAC ,OGG,RA,AIFF,AC3,MP2,MKA.
Just input your files and select output format(as youy wish WAV)Then click conversion button and wait for a few seconds, your audio fils will perfectly come out.
