What is the easiest way to get my own website up and running?

Posted by admin on March 5th, 2010 and filed under podcast tutorial | 1 Comment »

I want to make a website and domain for my podcast. My HTML isn’t the greatest, so I’m wondering what would be the best way to get my website running? Should I:

-Look at some tutorials to make my website user friendly?
-Have a template for my website (e.g. Dreamweaver)?
-Pay someone to setup my website?

    Try simple blog, first.
    It doesn’t cost you anything.
    Try, www.blogger.com
Create an account, and there you go.
Upload your podcast as mp3 files.

As you get comfortable with it.
You can try actual website with your domain name.

But at this moment, managing website will be overwhelming for you.
And your main objective is to podcast and not mastering website.

Hey, folks. I am making an audio podcast for itunes.

    So far, I:
    1. downloaded feedforall, followed the tutorial,
    2. made an rss feed with the software
    3. made an item in the feed
    4. uploaded the audio file to turboupload
    5. linked the audio file url to the item in the feed.

Now I’m stuck, I read that I have to FTP the feed to a SERVER?

can someone PLEASE explain the next steps to me. I don’t want any links to any tutorials, just a quick explanation of what I need to do.

    Thanks in advance.

How do I set up my Behringer Podcaststudio?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under podcast tutorial | 1 Comment »

I can’t figure out how to set up my behringer podcast studio. I can’t figure out how to connect the mixer to the audio interface. I have the mic hooked up to the mixer. Anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to connect the four cables between the interface and the mixer?

If you have the usb version, your 4 cables go into the device that is labeled UCA200. If you have the firewire version, the 4 cables go into the device labeled FCA202. Then that device plugs into your computer.

    Here are the quickstart guides
