I want to be able to make various documents that relate to the shows available to listeners, and a direct text file download would be best. But most hosting sites only let you upload audio files. Any suggestions?
That’s usually not done because the site’s not designed for it, not because they won’t allow it. But if you can put HTML in the description, you can link to the files.

But hows does increase in traffic count increase the revenue? I thought the number of clicks on an add is what generates the revenue.
Just visited the site and it seems it has a Page Rank of 7 and a lot of traffic and podcasts to be heard. They make their revenue by selling ad space on their website. If they have 200,000 unique visitors per month, advertisers will pay for an ad to be placed on the site usually on a monthly basis. The higher the visitors, the more expensive the ad usually runs.

Me and my friends were wanting to experiment with Podcasting. The thing is, we don’t know how. We would really appreciate the steps, equipment, and a possible estimate of how much is will cost, if it is possible of course.
Thank you!
There are great detailed instructions on this webpage:

In this video I discuss my the hardware I use in my podcast production. I focus on key points as 10 minutes simply is not long enough to go over everything, but….this will show how I have put to use the new equipment that I purchased.

I want to start video podcasting but want some free software that will do the whole shebang for me. I dont want to have to use three different software packages to create one Vlog.
Any ideas?
1. You Tube is banned in the country where I live.
2. I want to host my vlogs on my own blog (blogger) not on yet another hosting site with links out.
You could just make them and edit them in Windows Movie Maker and put them straight onto Youtube. There is also a site similar to Youtube called vloggerheads.com which is for vloggers. It has quite a good community too.
