Sorry if this seems dumb, but I don’t use Itunes on my computer that much,
Whenever I sync my iPod with iTunes, it takes podcasts off of my iPod. I have everything unselected, but it does it anyways. It’s frustrating because I have quite a few of them and it takes awhile to put them back on my iPod.
Again sorry if this seems obvious and thanks for answering!
make sure the ones you want to sync are checked
and check the podcast settings in the sync area. sometimes it’ll be set to "sync all unwatched" podcasts so as soon as you watch it and sync they’ll be removed

I have an Ipod Shuffle, which has worked ideally for me as I only use it for walking or running. Contrary to common perception, it CAN play tunes in the order you have loaded them – I keep the shuffle feature off. I am very much interested in using the Couch to 5K podcast. How do podcasts work? They disappear after one listen? Is there a way to keep them on my Shuffle?
Yes, I know that I can’t put video. These are podcasts, created I believe for Nike & available on itunes, which I have downloaded to my Shuffle.
Thanks a LOT guys! I figured it out myself. Both my kids have full ipods – I am perfectly content w/ my lil ole shuffle for my daily run!

I used to do a lot of driving and it was an excellent opportunity to keep up with several interesting podcasts that I listen to. However, I am now doing less driving so I am getting behind on some podcasts which have one episode per week. I find I can’t just sit in a chair an listen to them as I get fidgity. Can anyone suggest other activities that I could do to occupy my self while I listen to my podcasts. It should be a low-brain activity thing like ironing shirts.

I no longer have my previous computer and access to my itunes that had the podcasts that I want to delete on them. Is it posiably to these podcasts off my ipod even though they are not on my itunes and are not appearing in my music?

not sure but i believe if you sync your ipod w/ the new itunes that doesn’t have podcasts it will automatically be deleted but again i’m not sure.
