I’m in the market for a good microphone to do voice overs for videos and for doing podcasts and stuff. I want it to have a clear and professional sound to it. Noise canceling is a plus too. This isn’t going to be for gaming or communication or anything, just recording. If you could find one on CircuitCity.com or Target.com or any retail electronic store, that would be good because I just want to go and pick it up, don’t want to wait for the shipping lag.
Sure. The creative 551 is the mic i use. it is very clear and good.
Purchase it from any of these sites.

In the Attic,
Extras
Best of You tube.
I know it does depend alot on individual likes and dislikes but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Teaching or sharing ideas.
It would be great if anyone knew what camcorders the professional bloggers like scoble or boomtown is using! Cheers!
I would just buy a decent webcam. Youtube quality isnt really that great so there is no use to getting HD. If you’re looking for one on the go, try your phone camera first. Camera technology in phones are getting better and better.
Streaming HD videos on youtube would simply take up too much bandwith.

Go to versiontracker.com or apple.com/downloads. both have information about podcasting. There are software programs you can buy as well that will allow you to create and broadcast them too.
