I’m trying to block my little sisters from downloading useless podcasts and radio streams they use in itunes. It clogs up our network and as many times as they’ve agreed to stop podcasting they continue to do it.
What ports can i block? What additions can i make to the hosts file? Basically what can i do to stop this?
In iTunes click on Edit->Preferences->Parental Control
You’ll figure it out from there.
(Also, "podcasting" is the act of making a podcast for others to enjoy; i.e. uploading it. Obviously you’re attempting to stop them from downloading podcasts.)
