It’s simple …
It’s simple actually.
Patenting a Podcast is pretty much for those who are podcasting about a copyrighted ideal, or product. For instance, podcasting about World of Warcraft would most likely be illegal if this patent is successfully passed. Most podcasters haven’t gotten permission to talk about WoW, nor gotten permission to use effects, samples, etc in it.
If this patent is passed then podcasters that haven’t gotten permission to use things, would have to now…

It’s too obvious, too inevitable and too broad for a patent.False patent claims should have severe monetary penalty if it’s shown that the person or company making such claims were aware of prior art and attempted to claim ownership anyway.We’re all sick of this nonsense and it needs to stop.There should be no more tech and tech related patents until reviewers can prove understanding of the tech involved.
